History
Chucks Trucks was established in 1996 after 10 years of hobby building for himself and friends. Chucks first straight axle was his everydayer which was an '81 Isuzu diesel pup, the axle used was a Toyota with 4:10 running gears and 44" swampers. For power, a turbo was added, for gearing a second floater transfer case (M-37) was added behind the stock Isuzu case. This combination proved itself and is still used today. In the early '90s high horsepower V-8s and 44 boggers demanded more than one tons. The REOs were the crude answer. Very large axle shafts, 6:72 gears and low cost was all good. Chuck refined these axles by narrowing, adding disc brakes, hydraulic steering, locking hubs and clean 15" wheels. Today uses are found from street driven vehicles to mudhole kings on tractor tires.
